The liminal space between life and the next makes me contemplate beauty even more.
Life is promised to no one. There are things we cannot control.
What we can control is our perspective, our attachment, and our relationship with these taboo subjects.
This topic is not meant to scare anyone or use fear tactics; it's an honest discussion on reclaiming the preciousness of life.
The more we understand death as a transformative energy, the easier it will be to live amid societal chaos and misunderstanding because it becomes clear. Life is meant to be lived to the fullest; we should not fear the inevitable.
I have been sharing more about the collective shadow and how it correlates with our personal shadow dance.
As a young girl, I always knew that silence was easy for me and that observing my environment was key to learning how to be in this world.
It wasn’t till my 20s that I started to notice my affinity towards death and the liminal spaces of life. I realized the idea of an eternal hell made no sense for a loving God to enact.
This took me down a journey of practical understanding that the soul never dies and it can never be burned or destroyed. [The mind, physical body- is a different story]
Death started to show its face, not as a scary monster but as a wilting flower, that same flower becoming fuel for the land and the next generations of flowers.
Death is a door.
Death is as much of a part of life as life is a part of death.
We live for those who passed on, knowing they are still alive. Within us as memories and external as the divine spirit
This picture allows me to remember my grandmother, a woman I never met. But every day, I meet her through my mother. & Again, this is how I understand that the soul lives on forever.
The Mysterium was created as an offering to my recently departed teacher. After processing my grief, I realized that the best way for me to honor her is to live for her mission.
